The coating is single pack system which gives easy to use & suitable for various climates and reduces costs of rejection by not having risk of jellifying process. The water based Aquazinc™ coatings are normally non flammable, Easy water cleanup, Low Odor, Environmental friendly and low Curing temperature compares to other products around 200 deg c. This coating has a ability to recoat and better adhesion with different substrate.

The Aquazinc is made by -Al. flake, water borne one coat system, Silver grey in appearance. This coating is integrated with lubricants and do not need of additional top coat to adjust the co-efficient of friction values for threaded hardware parts and Fasteners.
Single coating system applied by 2 times or as required by dip spin coating and one coat by Spray. It is economical application due to no change in coating chemical for 2nd coating cycle in Dip-Spin application. The single coat water based coating is best suitable for Replacing of Zinc Plating!
Environment Protection by Aquazinc™ Coating
There are no hazardous and declarable substances in Aquazinc™ coating, thus it is friendlier with environment. The Polymet coatings are water based therefore I is low HAP (hazardous Air Pollution), Low VOC (Volatile Organic Content). The coating meets ELV, WEE and ROHS norm guidelines for not using hazardous and declarable substances.
Application for Aquazinc™ Coating
Aquazinc™ products can be applied with Non Electrolytically applied Dip Spin coating techniques for mass produced hardware parts and by spray application with or without electrostatic for larger metal parts
Main Characteristics of Aquazinc™ Coating
The first and important characteristic of Aquazinc™ coating is higher corrosion protection in comparison with electrolytically deposited zinc or zinc alloys. With uniform application of coating layer by advanced application techniques, depends up on pre-treatment and geometry of component; over 240 hours SST can be achieved and the coating is suitable for spring steel and high strength steel parts.
