Greenkote’s declared mission is to provide ecologically, cost-effective and technically superior and protective coatings worldwide through globally dispersed coating centers and licensees.

The environmentally friendly application process is a thermal dry process that does not use or generate toxins and creates minimal waste. The coating products do not contain Chrome III or VI; are Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant; and meet the EU End of Life Vehicles Directive (ELV).

Furthermore, the process is cheaper and offers superior technical properties compared to traditional competitive technologies. The technology is provided through Greenkote-owned plants, licensees, and joint-ventures.

Greenkote is a proprietary and patent protected thermal diffusion coating process that modifies and improves the basic surface characteristics of metals through Thermo Chemical Surface Modification. It is applicable to many types of metals, alloys, sintered metals, cermets and powders used in various applications that require long term corrosion protection and durability for automotive, construction, medical, aerospace and other major industries.

The Company entered the commercialisation stage in June 2005 on signing its first licensee, Tension Control Bolts Ltd. (Whitchurch, UK). Since this time, customer orders have been processed in the UK, Israel, Germany, and the US.
